Masal je moj kreativni studio – mjesto gdje šivam, popravljam, recikliram, krojim i stvaram, ali i gdje nastaju personalizirani detalji i kreativni trenuci. Volim uzeti običan materijal, staru tkaninu ili dobru ideju i pretvoriti ih u nešto novo, lijepo i korisno

Sve je počelo iz ljubavi prema stvaranju rukama i prema stvarima koje imaju karakter. Ne težim savršenstvu – više me zanimaju detalji, priča iza predmeta i onaj osjećaj kada znaš da nešto nije samo još jedna stvar.

Ako ste primijetili da je Masal dvojezičan, postoji dobar razlog za to. Rođena sam u Australiji, a danas živim i stvaram u Hrvatskoj. Odrastanje između različitih kultura i iskustava prirodno je postalo dio mene, pa tako i dio Masala. Zato ovdje žive i hrvatski i engleski jezik – kao mali odraz svijeta iz kojeg dolazim i mjesta koje danas zovem domom.

Volim jednostavne stvari: dobre materijale, pošten rad, kreativnost bez previše pravila i proizvode koji nose trag ruku koje su ih napravile. Bilo da nešto pronađete u Masal shopu, osmislite po svom ili sudjelujete u jednom od kreativnih trenutaka, voljela bih da odavde odnesete nešto što je – baš vaše.

About Masal

Masal is my creative studio – a place where I sew, mend, recycle, cut, create, and turn ideas and everyday materials into something new, useful and beautiful. It’s also where personalised details and creative moments come to life.

It all started with my love of making things by hand and giving everyday objects a little more character. I’m not chasing perfection – I’m much more interested in the details, the story behind a piece, and that feeling you get when you know something isn’t just another thing.

You may have noticed that Masal is bilingual, and there’s a reason for that. I was born in Australia, and today I live and create in Croatia. Growing up with different cultures and experiences naturally became part of who I am, and that found its way into Masal too. So you’ll find both Croatian and English here – a small reflection of where I come from and the place I now call home.

I love simple things: good materials, honest work, creativity without too many rules, and products that carry the mark of the hands that made them. Whether you find something in the Masal shop, make it your own, or join one of the creative moments, I hope you leave with something that feels – truly yours.
